I have been teaching in the Newcastle Public School system for the past 8 years. I am a special education teacher who teaches Racer Academic Achievement and Co-teach freshmen and sophomore English.  I coach HS and MS cheer and am the Senior sponsor. I love my job and love being a RACER!!!

This is my 26th year to teach Special Education. I previously taught in the Velma-Alma and the Marlow school systems. I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and received a B.S. in Special Education.

I am married to Steve Wright and we have two daughters, Morgan and Macaulee, who both graduated from Newcastle .We also have three other other babies, Zoey and Boomer our spoiled minature Yorkies and Max our English Bulldog.
