Why do I teach? I have always loved learning, children, and helping others...what better way to combine those loves? In the Army, I was exposed to places with no schools, or where there were restrictions on who could attend the schools. I think we are fortunate to live in a country where anyone can attend school, and I think it is important to have good teachers who really want to be here. I love being a part of that. | My Expectations of My Students: I hold all of my students to a high standard. I strive to model for them an honest, sincere, and respectful demeanor, of which I expect from them in return. I work hard to help students learn how to navigate more independently in their work, and I hope to help them become better prepared for 8th grade and beyond. |
