I am one of Newcastle's speech-language pathologists, starting in the 2015-2016 school year. Currently, I work at ECC and the Elementary.  I have been a speech-language pathologist for 37 years and in the schools for 17 years.  I graduated with a B.S. and M.S. from Murray State University in Kentucky.  I have my national certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, have my teaching certification and am licensed by the state of Oklahoma.  

 

 My job consists of screening, evaluating, and treating students with communication problems.  The students' speech and language problems range from very mild to severe.   I enjoy being a SLP just as much as when I started years ago.  Watching the students make progress makes each day interesting and fun.
