Hello! I have been teaching at Newcastle High School for the past 24 years, and this year, I am teaching English IV and AP English Language and Composition. I also sponsor the Creative Writing Club. Working with high school students is quite rewarding to me because I see so much potential and energy with these bright students that are soon to be making their own way in the world. I believe in reaching out to all of my students, helping them to discover what they can offer to the world, and showing them how to reach those goals. When I’m not teaching or being a part of school-related activities, I enjoy being with my family. My husband teaches STEM at Newcastle Elementary, and we have two kids who graduated from Newcastle Public Schools. We like to go camping and hiking, and I also enjoy traveling and photography. I am proud to be a Racer!
