All schools and buses will be dismissing and running at normal dismissal times. However, if parents/guardians would like to check their students out before that time, we will allow that to happen with no absence penalties for the students. As many of you know we also have many activities scheduled for today and this weekend. Here is a update concerning each of those activities as we know them to be.

The local Newcastle FFA/4H livestock show scheduled for tomorrow morning has been rescheduled to Friday morning, March 6, 2015. This change is being made for the safety of our students, families, and their livestock.

The local Newcastle Livestock Bonus Auction scheduled for 7:00pm tomorrow evening has been rescheduled to Friday evening, March 6, 2015 at 7:00pm. This change is being made for the safety of our patrons, students, and business partners in the event.

The OSSAA regional basketball tournament games scheduled for today ARE still currently scheduled to be played today and tomorrow at their regularly scheduled times. We understand that the conditions are much less than ideal, but we have several teams who are from long distances away and who left early to get here before the weather hit. They have already arrived, therefore, we are going to try and play as many of those games as possible to accommodate those teams. If this changes, we will send another update and also update the website.

The OSSAA state wrestling has been moved up to 4:30pm on Saturday by the OSSAA.

The OSSAA district music contest scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 7. This change was made directly at the state level by the OSSAA.
