Special Note:
Newcastle High School administrators take the safety and security of our students very seriously. Newcastle Public School employs a full time School Resource Officer who is also a Newcastle Police Officer. Newcastle High School administrators take all rumors and reports of potential violence seriously. It is CRITICAL that we always be connected to our students. Our teachers and administrators work diligently to interact with students and forge relationships so that they feel comfortable sharing concerns. We also encourage parents and community members to report any concerns they have to the high school administrators. All reports are investigated thoroughly. If threats are found to be credible, local law enforcement is notified. We encourage open communication with our community, students, parents and staff as well as the Newcastle Police Department as we continue to work together to keep our high school a safe environment.
